Well-being and Leadership Coaching

WELCOME

I’m Lynne, and I offer compassionate, practical coaching for school leaders, staff and school communities. Whether you're navigating the pressures of headship, seeking more balance in your day-to-day life, or looking to support staff well-being across your school, I’m here to help. Through one-to-one coaching and tailored programmes, I create space for reflection, resilience, and meaningful growth — so you can thrive, not just survive.

Below, you’ll find an introduction to the different ways coaching can support you — from reclaiming your well-being to strengthening your leadership or nurturing a healthier school culture.

Reclaim Your Well-being

There are times in life when we begin to feel like we're running on autopilot — moving from one obligation to the next, all the while sensing that something essential is quietly slipping away.

Perhaps you’ve felt it too —
That low hum of fatigue.
The weight of responsibilities you didn’t choose but carry anyway.
The quiet ache of wondering if this is all there is.

You may feel:

  • Trapped in routines that once made sense but no longer nourish you.

  • Out of sync with yourself or those around you.

  • Strangely invisible in a life that looks fine on paper.

  • Capable of more, but unsure how to access it.

And you may have noticed:

  • Confidence slowly ebbing away.

  • A fog of doubt clouding your purpose.

  • A subtle disconnection from joy, meaning, or motivation.

Well-being coaching isn’t about fixing you — because you’re not broken.
It’s about carving out space: space to breathe, to think, to remember who you are beneath the noise.

As a former headteacher, I know what it means to pour your energy into others until there’s little left for yourself. In education especially, self-neglect can start to feel noble — even expected.

But you are not a machine.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to ask, “What do I need?”
You are allowed to want more — not in a selfish way, but in a deeply human one.

Together, we’ll gently explore what renewal might look like for you.
We’ll uncover practical ways to shift from surviving to living — with intention, with balance, and in alignment with who you really are.

Sometimes, one small conversation can begin a meaningful change.

Flourish in Your Leadership

Leadership is more than a role — it’s a way of being. It asks not only for skill and strategy, but for emotional clarity, self-awareness, and resilience in the face of constant demands. It can be invigorating, yes — but also isolating, uncertain, and quietly overwhelming.

Whether you're stepping into leadership for the first time or carrying the weight of experience into new challenges, coaching offers something vital: a space to think, feel, and evolve.

Through leadership coaching, you can begin to:

  • Develop quiet confidence in your leadership voice.

  • Set goals that are not just ambitious, but meaningful.

  • Deepen your ability to listen, connect, and communicate.

  • Explore blind spots not as flaws, but as doorways to growth.

  • Cultivate more authentic and effective relationships.

  • Reconnect with the purpose behind your performance.

We often speak of leadership as if it’s all about direction and decisiveness — but the best leaders know the power of pause, reflection, and recalibration. Coaching offers a confidential space to return to yourself, find your footing, and lead not just with skill, but with integrity and intention.

Coaching for Schools:

Supporting the People Who Shape Education

Schools are more than institutions — they are living ecosystems of people: thinkers, carers, leaders, learners. And at the heart of any thriving school is a staff team that feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Coaching in schools goes beyond professional development. It speaks to something deeper: the emotional resilience of teachers, the self-belief of leaders, the subtle yet powerful dynamics between colleagues. It creates space — not just for growth, but for understanding, connection, and renewal.

With over 30 years in education — including my time as a headteacher — I know the realities educators face: the unrelenting pace, the emotional labour, the quiet burnout that can creep in unnoticed. That’s why my coaching programmes are designed to meet people where they are, with compassion and practical insight.

What coaching can offer your school:

  • Build resilience and self-confidence in staff at all levels

  • Strengthen trust, communication, and team cohesion

  • Increase engagement, motivation, and job satisfaction

  • Unlock leadership potential and enhance everyday effectiveness

Bespoke support includes:

  • 1:1 coaching for headteachers and school leaders

  • Drop-in sessions for teachers and wider staff teams

Coaching is not a luxury. It’s a form of care — for the people who hold everything together, often without pause. And when educators feel valued, supported, and aligned, it ripples outward: to pupils, to classrooms, to the culture of the school itself.
