how coaching works
“If you are moving forward in your life, if you are progressing personally, professionally, emotionally and spiritually – you will be happy.”
- Tony Robbins
YOUR FIRST COACHING SESSION:
Your first coaching session is free, offering a chance to learn more about you—your current situation, your focus areas, and your future aspirations. We'll discuss the coaching process, clarifying what it is and what it isn’t, and explore how we can work together as coach and coachee.
There’s no pressure to continue. If you feel it's not the right fit, or if either of us believes I'm not the right coach for you, we’ll simply part ways after the first meeting. If we decide to proceed, we'll choose the best program for you and continue our sessions.
WHAT COACHING IS:
"Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance." (Whitmore, 2004)
In today's world, especially after the challenges posed by the pandemic, the stresses and pressures across organizations, families, and personal lives have intensified. This makes coaching more vital than ever.
Coaching is a powerful tool that helps individuals realize their potential and work towards a happier, more satisfying, and successful life. It's about unlocking the tremendous power within you.
Coaching requires courage, focus, and a willingness to share vulnerabilities. As your coach, I will provide a safe, supportive, creative, and non-judgmental space designed with you in mind. I won't tell you what to do but will listen intently, ask insightful questions, and when appropriate, draw on specific strategies. Coaching helps you find your own solutions, bridging the gap between your current situation and your desired future, while enhancing your self-awareness. It supports you in exploring the benefits and costs of making changes, resolving unanswered questions, gaining clarity and direction, all at your own pace.
Coaching differs from counseling and talking therapies in several ways. The coaching relationship is one of equals, unlike the “doctor/patient” dynamic, and is typically a short-term engagement. While therapists often focus on the past or present, coaches concentrate on the present and future. Most clients are already performing well in their careers, regardless of the stage they are at.
People engage in coaching for various reasons. You might want to excel further, improve your work-life balance, or address non-work issues such as building self-confidence, self-esteem, or reducing anxiety. Whatever your goals, coaching can help you achieve them.
